When you need more than outpatient care...
Sometimes, symptoms become severe. When severity dictates, we recommend either intensive outpatient programming, day hospital, or inpatient care, depending on your needs and circumstances. The following is a list of facilities close by, that we have some experience with, based on the words of our clients.
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) typically meet three evenings weekly, which allows you to continue earning a living during daytime hours. IOPs are usually designed to help patients with substance abuse and alcoholism-related problems.
IOPs
Green Oaks Behavioral Health has three programs in Plano: a substance abuse/alcohol program for adults over the age of seventeen, a back-to-work program for adults, and an adolescent substance abuse/alcohol program. All three programs may be accessed by calling 972-985-1599.
Green Oaks Behavioral Health has programs in Dallas on the Medical City Campus at Clodus Fields and Merit Drives. Their programs may be accessed by calling 972-770-0818.
The Seay Center at Presbyterian Hospital in Plano provides adolescent mental health and substance abuse/alcohol programming. Their programs may be accessed by calling 972-981-8301.
University Behavioral Health provides IOP programs for substance abuse and alcoholism in Denton. Call 940-320-8100 for detailed information. Programs are available for adults and adolescents.
Inpatient Programs
Green Oaks Dallas, The Seay Center and University Behavioral also offer both inpatient and day programs for mental health and substance abuse/alcoholism. Use the above listed phone numbers to access the respective programs.
In addition to the above-named programs, Green Oaks McKinney offers inpatient care for adults and geriatric patients at their 63-bed facility at 130 South Central Expressway at Virginia Parkway. Admissions assistance available at 972-658-9507.
Day Programs for Kids
University Behavioral Health provides additional day programs for elementary, preteen and adolescent ages in Carrollton at NorthPointe Family Center. Their programs may be accessed by calling 972-394-4357.
