All of our therapists participate in a minimum of thirty hours of continuing education every two-year licensing period. They also spend another eighteen hours per year attending HBC in-house peer review sessions. One-on-one case reviews are also done as each clinician deems necessary.
Our HBC professionals stay current on new empirical findings and strive to offer you quality counseling, as evidenced by our ratings by the OptumHealth Campaign For Excellence survey. Of the over 88,500 mental health professionals in the OptumHealth network, only 1,364 qualify as tier one professionals across the United States. Yet, all of our clinicians who have been with us for at least three years are rated tier one.
For more information on this rating process, feel free to email Miles Morrison at milesimorrison@earthlink.net, who is a member of the CFE committee.
